I finally set up a page to sell my work! It feels good to have taken this step finally. I've done shows and will continue to do so, but now that I've actually built a storefront (it ain't much, more like a hotdog stand!) I have more reason to create work, express my art, and entertain. Comic Book Workshop Comic Jam!

I was a guest speaker for Self-publisher/teacher Javier Hernandez's comic book workshop class in Pico Rivera recently and I had a great time! I asked Javier prior to class if I could work with his students on a comicbook jam rather than giving a demonstration or lecture and he gave me a green light, so that's just what we did. I must admit I wasn't sure how it would turn out, having never tried this with a class before, but it turned out great! Man, Jav's students really did an outstanding job! A big "Thank You" to Javier for inviting me to speak to his class, and to all his students for reminding me how special comics and art can be to the young and young at heart!

Sketch Painting to unwind after a busy day!

Here's a sketch painting I did tonight, done with acrylic on 5" by 7" canvas board. I had a busy day, and unwinding with some loose paint and firm canvas really hit the spot!
